The 13 best spots for chicken wings in Kamala (2024)

Located on the west coast of phu*ket, the Cape Sienna resort offers stunning sea views from all its rooms and villas. The resort's contemporary design is embedded with a touch of luxury, blending modernity with urban liveliness while seamlessly in tune with nature. Delicious food is a big part of what makes this hotel so special - every meal is spectacular!

Lovely Hotel. Great location if you seek for a quite vacation time. It’s 10-15 minutes walk to a Kamala beach and most of the cafes there, nearest 7/11 is 5-7 minutes walk distance. Amazing view from lobby and hotel room. I stayed few weeks in a suit with a sea view and last few days moved to deluxe. What can I say experience with suit is much better. Deluxe room is a bit narrow and sea view is like from a hole in a box. Walls cut it off so I didn’t enjoy it much. I recommend to take a room of higher class than deluxe. Also there is little problem with ants and n a hotel, it’s impossible to leave any food on a table))) Cafe on the rocks and roof top bar are amazing, food and drinks are great. Sea view is stunning. Their Steak house I didn’t feel much, my steak was a disaster even though service is amazing. Breakfast is fine - I’d give it 4 out of 5, room cleaning service is 3 out of 5. They constantly forget something like towel, robe or toilet paper even though you tip them or note))) the rest of Personnel in a hotel is very polite and speaks English, administrators of reception are very helpful. Definitely would come back again. It worth visiting!

I rate this hotel 6.5/10 or 4 stars. What I liked 👍:I booked suite with jacuzzi and the view from the balcony was amazing. What I didn't like👎:Staff were unfriendly and some of them were really rude. The cleanness of the room in general was so bad.Insects everywhere inside the room.I recommend finding another hotel if you care about sleeping in a cleaned room and dealing with friendly staff.

Room:The room is well cleaned. Bed and pillow are comfortable. I booked the sea well room and it was as perfect as need. Separate bathroom and toilet is also good for two people. However, I seem having problem to turn on some light in the middle of the night and found out in the morning that it’s a must to turn on master light first so you can turn on every small light such as toilet light.Service:The service is good but as I didn’t request a lot personally so there is nothing to complain about it. My simple questions are well answered and support every time.Breakfast:Breakfast is considered good taste compared to some 4-5 stars hotel I have ever tried.Location:Location is so perfect!!! Worth every minute here ❤️Spa:Noticed that there was no location of Balance Spa to review. The spa has nice view. There are plenty of room in side. I could not make reservation online so I contact the hotel directly and they did reservation for me. The price is not overprice and usually has promotion. I did balance massage for 90 mins and it was perfect moment that I truly relieve.

The rooms were nice and clean. Beautiful view in a quiet area. The smell in my room was not great, but it is very common in Thailand to experience bad smell in room with restroom inside. The room has all the comfort. Breakfast was not great for my standard.

We booked the Honeymoon Suite at Cape Sienna for a week in April, and it was one of the best rooms we have stayed in. It was very spacious, had a huge balcony with a jacuzzi outside that had a direct view of the sea. I witnessed some of the most beautiful sunsets from our balcony. The most underrated thing at this hotel is the water pressure in the shower – best one I have ever experienced in any hotel! There was a good variety of food at breakfast with plenty of fruits, freshly baked bakery, and a great mix of Thai & Western foods. The beach is a short walk away, however walking back up was difficult given the heat & humidity, so we only did this once and got a taxi/tuktuk the other times. They also have a lovely infinity pool and jacuzzi at Sienna Rocks Cafe which is a must visit. I was a bit hesitant booking this hotel at first after reading some reviews regarding staff, however I didn’t have any problems there at all. Everyone was super friendly and always willing to help. I would recommend this hotel to couples and families who want a quiet holiday near the lovely and peaceful Kamala Beach.

This is a lovely hotel, well designed with beautiful rooms, pool, gym, spa and nice staff. The roof top bar ' Vanila Sky' is the best place to be at sunset, service is great !We indulged in the food and loved the menu.We stayed 3 nights in March and will return in May again. The room rate is great just now so its a bargain for the standard that it is rated and does indeed achieved.

After a long trip from Europe to Thailand, we immediately felt at ease after entering the lobby from the elevator. You are greeted by an incredible view over Kamala Beach. We got a clean room with a comfy bed and plenty of pillows. The view from the balcony is breathtaking (deluxe room, upper floor). The Bar & Restaurant within the premises serves fantastic authentic Thai food and drinks. Make sure to opt-in for breakfast during booking: Excellent coffee from WMF branded coffee makers, top notch selection of various foods, fruits, bread…perfectly happy. The staff is unmatchable friendly & accommodating: From the cleaning staff, waiters, lobby staff to the manager. Everyone was so professional and helpful. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you so much, we will be back.

We had an enjoyable few nights stay at Cape Sienna with family and friends. We loved the room, beautiful sea view with jacuzzi. Very quiet environment. Great breakfast and we loved the pools. Hotel do provide free transportation at certain timing to nearby Town kamala. Do check with the receptionist. Definitely will be back again.

Lovely place… they will welcome you with so much love. The time ur life doors will open u will get amazed by the view. When we visit there was some renovation going on in one part of hotel which was not even noticeable but still hotel staff gave us freebies to compensate the disturbance causedWe enjoyed our stay there , u can definitely go there .

Pros: The place is gorgeousEasy access to places if you can ride a 2-wheelerGood foodHuge con:so are the rooms bit I had a very bad experience in terms of service. There were pests in my room more than twice and I requested a change of room but wasn't provided any. They did help with pesticide but the room just smelled of it all along screwing up my experience. No dental kit was provided which was absurd

The room is very nice with fabulous sea view. We have the delicious breakfast for 3 consecutive days besides the beautiful swimming pool while enjoying the awesome view and tranquil atmosphere. The hospitality here is really impressive. Before we check in, we have several email correspondence with the staff, and we receive very prompt replies. The efficiency is very impressive. It is a really nice travel experience.

Beautiful hotel. The pool was gorgeous, the food was good. The beer was costly and the staff were lovely. It was a great location out of the way up a hill overlooking the beach. The cafe across the street which also belonged to the hotel with it's terrace and infinity pool was simply stunning.

One of best resorts I’ve stayed at in phu*ket. The views of the beach and ocean is stunning. The room is huge with a seperate lounge and kitchen area. Nice outdoor balcony with pool and seating beds. Bathroom is very big with a large spa tub. I loved coming down to breakfast every morning with my laptop. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast with the Thai noodle soup. I would sit there for 2-3 hours. And enjoyed the view of the pool and warm weather. It’s a short walk down to the beach. This hotel is located on top of the hill so you should catch a taxi around to Patong to go shopping or for dinner. The hotel has a nice romantic restaurant and roof top bar for co*cktails.

Without a doubt a fabulous location and lovely hotel, however check in and check out needs perhaps to be less officious and more welcoming to customers and maybe customers shouldn’t hear staff communicating in such a demanding manner. It’s should be a pleasant experience. The sky bar had a good friendly atmosphere on our initial visit, though when returning hours later we had to search for staff. Great position to be for the sun sets which are stunning. The infinity pool across the road at the Rock Cafe Bar was perfect for a few guests, though not somewhere suitable for large numbers. The cafe itself do a variety of food and drinks, not cheap, I’d say on a par with the UK.The main pool sits in front of the restaurant which is a good size and it has plenty of seating, access to towels & showers etc. It also has a bar to serve drinks and snacks. We are at the Plum Restaurant as it was our anniversary treat to ourselves. My steak was well cooked but my husbands steak was half fat and over seasoned with salt, very disappointing given the cost but we never got asked how it was, or get asked if we wanted a desert, so we asked for the bill and left. It appeared they favoured those who drunk wines or visited regularly.Breakfast was simple, well presented and much to offer those who like to indulge, something for everyone but personally I would have like more choices of cereal.I would say it was a trip we enjoyed and we wanted to stay to get the best experience from it but when using the app for an extended stay they never responded, so we left. The room was lovely good size bed, powerful shower and very nicely set out for arrival. Everything you needed really, though the TV did randomly turn on in the early hours twice on its own, which was slightly alarming.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cape Sienna, left a positive review as well on Agoda, where I booked my stay. My room had a view of the sea, and was generally quiet. On one night there was a power trip because of the rain but this is actually pretty common for phu*ket hotels, even 5-star ones. Rooms have a full-sized umbrella and torch light too. Drinkable bottled water is refilled daily. Breakfast was so-so for me, but I really liked the eggs station and hash browns were good too.Location-wise, it is up a hill but not too far from Kamala beach. There is a shuttle that goes to the Tsunami Memorial beach 3 times in the day (9am, 10am and noon) and the last bus that returns to the hotel is at 4pm. A little early but if you don’t mind, you can walk. It’s pretty safe and I was there alone.I’d recommend this hotel for couples and solo travellers.

Walking distance from Kamala beach, although some effort is required because the resort is atop a small hill.Clean resort, spacious room, friendly staff. Not the most baby friendly, but they are upfront about not having amenities to cater to small children.Room service was delightful! Food was really good.

I stayed in the sea view studio room on building 5. It was facing the ocean and you can see the sunset. The room was clean, it was spacious and it’s well maintained.I stayed for 3 nights. Reception was 24/7. Room service was until 10pm I believe. The bar on the rooftop was open until midnight. The cafe across the main building was in front of the ocean. We got a coupon for a free bottle of wine at the Isole restaurant. Food at Isole was expensive but worth it. The food at the poolside restaurant had a massive serving (good for 2-3 people depending on what you order) taste was pretty good for the value. Breakfast buffet was great. Good enough variation and with a bit of difference per day.Main pool was very nice, especially during sunset. I saw the second pool across the main building beside the cafe, looks nice too.The staff were great. They were pretty informative, and approachable. They also greeted you every time they see you. Housekeeping were nice too, offering to clean your room, or give you water or new towels etc.The only thing is that it’s not beach front. You need to walk down the road for 5 minutes to see a path going down the beach. The resort also provided a shuttle service in the mornings 2x to Kamala beach and pick up in the afternoon from Kamala beach. To sum it up, it’s a very good resort to stay in phu*ket. I’ll choose this resort again should I need to come back.

I loved my stay here for the second year in a row. Very comfortable as a solo female traveler. Last year I was here for almost two weeks and felt well looked after. Due to its great facilities it was easy to not have to leave the resort for anything other than visiting other islands and walking to the local beach. The beach is a short walk and it’s a very cheap Grab ride to Catch Beach Club or the Shimmer beach restaurant.Three nice places to eat on the resort. One at the pool, second on the rooftop and 3rd around the pool. If you’re feeling a little restless, you have the hotel’s own cafe just a minutes walk from the hotel where you can either be around the pool or working remotely from the cafe. The only issue is no place to charge laptop in the Sienna Rock Cafe.Overall excellent rooms, breakfast was good with a variety of Thai options too! The views from breakfast room are spectacular!!Try for a sea view room if budget allows, it was so relaxing spending time on the balcony too.

Absolutely negative value for money, the structure is dated and the rooms are not modern, the breakfast is plentiful for Asian customers while for Americans and Europeans quite poor. The cleanliness in the rooms is sufficient while the linen change is not daily. It is absolutely not a 5 star but a dedicated 4 star.

I am so happy to choose this place at a last moment. Beautiful modern hotel with amazing views. Conveniently located in Kamala and easy access to beach and Patong area. Great breakfast in the morning!! Very clean and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.

This hotel has a good location and design based on the small size of land. The view is great in the room with bit ageing. The service is really cool. If you don’t talk to them, they will not talk to you~~ The price is a little overpriced. If you have social anxiety disorder, I recommend not to stay here. Need to be mental strong here.

During a recent stay at the Cape Sienna phu*ket Gourmet Hotel & Villas from April 23rd to April 26th, I had the opportunity to experience their Executive Pool Penthouse, which boasts an exceptional sea view. Here are some key takeaways from my visit:1. Scenic Views: The panoramic sea views from the penthouse are undoubtedly breathtaking. However, it's important to note that direct beach access is not available, which might be a consideration for beach enthusiasts.2. Dining Experience: The breakfast options were quite limited during my stay. I found myself restricted to scrambled eggs each morning, which was a bit disappointing for a hotel of this caliber.3. Service: The staff at the hotel maintained a professional demeanor, but I felt a warmer, more proactive engagement was lacking. Guests are often required to initiate interactions, which might not meet everyone's expectations of hospitality.4. In-Room Dining*: While in-room breakfast is available for a nominal fee of 40 baht, the lack of a proper dining setup on the terrace, such as a table and chairs, suggests that the hotel might not be fully equipped for in-room dining experiences.5. Swimming Pool: The pool, although visually appealing, is quite small and shallow. It may not suit those looking to swim laps or enjoy more aquatic activities.6. Accessibility: Access to the room can be a bit cumbersome as it involves climbing two flights of stairs to reach the elevators, which might be a concern for those with mobility issues.7. Entertainment: Post-sunset, the ambiance at the hotel becomes notably subdued, with no scheduled activities or entertainment to keep guests engaged during the evening.8. Policies: Upon check-in, a security deposit of 400 baht is required, and the process to reclaim this deposit at check-out was notably slow, which could be streamlined for better guest convenience.9. Location: The hotel's location is somewhat remote from phu*ket’s main attractions, which could lead to significant transportation costs via services like Grab and Bolt. This might be a deterrent for those looking to explore the vibrant scenes of old phu*ket or other active spots. Conclusion: Cape Sienna phu*ket Gourmet Hotel & Villas offers a retreat with stunning views and serene privacy but falls short in areas like dining diversity, guest engagement, and evening entertainment. Prospective visitors should weigh these aspects against the hotel's tranquil aesthetics and quiet charm.

Reception staff need to be more friendly, we found if we don't speak they don't speak and they never engaged in conversation.Cheap toilet paper throughout the hotel.Based on a steep hill and lots of stairs. Our first room in block 5, they have a water pump issue which the hotel knew about, so we had to move rooms on the second day.Our second room had an electricity tower right outside and buzzed 24/7.The hotel grounds needs TLC, I.e green areas and the pond bit needs a good clean.Very over priced, if you stayed by the pool you were unable to bring your own food and drink.Over priced.Old men bringing different Thai girls back daily. The hotel wasn't for us, it just didn't have that welcoming feel.

Stayed here for 5 nights during Christmas holiday 2023 and loved the hotel!Breakfast buffet is great, walking distance to the beach and 7-11, nice room/bed/couch and also huge jacuzzi in the big balcony.I also had a very nice pineapple fried rice by the pool :DRenting car and booking island hopping tours can both be done in the lobby, although more expensive then from touristic beach area, at least pick up/drop off is convenient.

Very good place, renting a scooter is highly recommended to enjoy the location as the nearby beaches aren’t that good like Kamala Beach for example. Surin beach is 15 minutes away and it’s breath taking.

Really enjoyed my first 4 days in phu*ket at Cape Sienna.Staff were sooo friendly and even at breakfast time remembered who i was to tick my room number off the list. Food is lovely! Hotel is clean, modern, fresh with really nice rooms.Only a short 10 min walk down to the beach and Kamala village. Will definitely return!

We went there with a large family and the experience was perfect. View of the villa is perfect and the best in the vicinity. Food and facilities (spa, gym, bars - everything you need for a perfect vacation) are great. Staff are very helpful and assisted our large family a lot in arranging transportation, food and lots of our special needs. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
